Keukenhof

Located in Lisse, Keukenhof is a eighty acre garden devoted to spring flowering bulbs. It is worth a trip from anywhere. You will never see another park like it in your life. This is a place to see not only new and antique flower varieties but new ideas in garden design and installation.

Open from March 19 to May 21. You can take the train to Leiden from Amsterdam and then bus number 54 to the park. There is also bus number 58 from Schipol Airport

The last week of April is usually good bet. Plan to stay late, the park stays open till 7:30 and empties out after 3 so you will have the gardens to yourself and few other happy people.
